Gemma is a very experienced stylist who has been working for the company for 11 years, she has worked her way up from trainee to her current position. Gemma has acheived many things that she is very proud of during her time at David Thomas, the most recent is her Schwarzkopf Master Colour Award, four months intensive colour training at the Schwarzkopf Academy in London. Gemma is a very hard working and busy stylist, loved by her clients and team alike!

Heather has worked and trained with us for 10 years. Heather has been awarded the prize for colour technician of the year, a good hairdresser and fantastic with colour. Heather has also assisted David on photo shoots and seminars. Great with clients and a major part of the team. ”I love my clients, every visit to the salon means not just a great new style, but lots of new things to talk about too!” to quote Heather.

Position: Marketing & Development Director

Salon : Preston

Emma looks after marketing and PR, and is responsible, along with the web designers, for the amazing website. She is our ‘front of house’ at David Thomas… Amazing customer service is her role. A creative and caring member of the team, Emma will do everything she can to take the pressure off modern day living as soon as you walk through the salon door! Emma says “I love the busy buzzing atmosphere in the salon… There’s always something new going on.”

Position: Head of David Thomas Training Academy & Stylist in Managment Team
Salon : Preston

Sam loves being involved with delivering seminars with David, teaching hairdressers from around the country new cutting and styling techniques. Sam is famous in the salon for her blow drys and amazing hair ups! Some of the photographic work on the website has been produced by Sam. “It’s a fun place to work, everyone gets on so well. I love being involved with seminars!” – Sam

Position: Advanced Stylist

Clare is great with long hair, whether it’s dressing, curling or putting it up! Clare loves chatting to all the clients… She brings lots of life to the salon and is always guaranteed to put a smile on your face! ”I love working at David Thomas because the atmosphere is really nice. All the team are lovely and really great to work with!” Clare.

Position: Graduate Stylist
Salon : Preston

Richard is our graduate stylist. He has trained with the David Thomas team for 2 years and he is very keen and hardworking. Richard is a fantastic young stylist, great at beautiful hair ups… The girls on the team are always asking him to style their hair before a big night out! Richard loves working at David Thomas because he really likes all the staff and clients.

Position: 2nd Year Trainee
Salon : Preston

Charlotte is in her 2nd year of training at David Thomas. She gets on great with all the team and clients alike! She is always excited to learn new skills and is happy to help out in anyway she can… Her love of fashion means she’s full of fab ideas. Charlotte also modelled in our London Fashion Week Shoot, so it goes without saying, she has a lovely big smile too!

Position: 1st Year Trainee

Alice is the newest member of the team at David Thomas. She is in her 1st year of training with us and she loves the academy! Alice is a great addition to the David Thomas team, she is enthusiastic and gets along with everybody… She has a great future ahead.
